On 15th June 2011, my daughter Amy was killed unfairly and unnecessarily by two drivers. They’d been drinking, were racing and driving dangerously at 65 & 81mph in a 30mph zone.

Amy was 13yrs old. She was beautiful, funny and loving. She had a smile that could light up a room.

On Monday 15th June, 4 years on, I am asking everyone to join me in lighting a candle, in your own home or workplace. Together we can remember Amy and all victims of careless & dangerous driving.

Help me please to raise awareness of Think Amy and promote our safe driving message.

Take a photo of your candle, write a message and post on it on social media by:

  • Liking & sharing my Facebook post with your FB friends in the UK & all across the world – make sure to tag ‘Think Amy’.
  • Tweeting or sending us your photo via Instagram at @thinkamycharity – help us find your post faster by using the hashtag #RememberingAmy

Together we can make a difference.

If you would like to support us further, you can make a donation here to help us spread Amy’s story to promote safe driving.

Amy we love you, and as the card quite rightly says… Your light forever shines.

My thanks to you all…Jane x
